Sometimes after much pleading you son comes out sailing with you and has a “it wasn’t fun Dad, but it was decent” sort of time.

Easy and breezy NE wind 💨 back from Gun Cay on the sweet little F27 with Pops. What a blast. That is a wake behind us at 9.3 knots under sail power only. We had a rooster tail at 14.7 knots!

One of my jobs last week was to create two new sole panels for the project I’m working on.
He would be the last to admit it, but Jeff Iorio, you are a master of your trade. Thanks for taking the time.

Sea Trial last Friday. Still a few things to do but I was delighted to see the mighty Jasmine go back into action after months of refit and reparations. The Boat suffered severe damage due to hurricane Irma while in Tortola last September and arrived in Fort Lauderdale in March. I was prepared for the worst and was still dumbstruck by the amount of damage she suffered. Along with losing her rig, two boats landed on her ruining much of the bright work and metal work. All the electronics have been re-done and countless hours of wood work paint and finish work have been completed. I’d like to extend a special thanks to the following team; Christian and Paul at Dam Rigging, Peter Grimm at Super Sail Makers, Leandro, Edward, Lewis and Albert at Patagonia, Charlie and Bret at CJM. Charlie, Michael and Sammy at Wood Chuck. Terry, Bill and Tommy at Island Marine Electronics, Peter and Damian at Lean Marine. Scarlette at Scarlett’s wood repair. Kathy at Southern Machine. Jeff and Dale at Hawthorn Marine. Jackson and Joe Potter at Northern Star. Thank you Shanti. Thanks Chad at Big Image Signs. Thanks to any and all that have assisted that I may not have mentioned. Special thanks to the owner John Evans and for making this possible, I am excited to sail with you soon! Thanks for all the gracious assistance of Tracy and Jason. All of you have done a magnificent job with Jasmine. I’m proud to know you, and honored by your dedication and ongoing efforts. Thank You.
