Feeding time down in the Gator Pit with Devin, Dingo, and Stumpy.

Our rescued alligators at Everglades Holiday Park are fed once per week, and each one gets a few chicken quarters. For alligators, that is more than enough food for the week. In the wild, some alligators can go months without a meal, which makes these feedings an important part of keeping our rescued gators healthy, comfortable, and well cared for.

Dingo, Stumpy, and the rest of our rescued alligators are happy, thriving, and cared for every day by the amazing Gator Boys team here at Everglades Holiday Park.

Devin handled a little dental work with Jigsaw the rescued alligator. Jigsaw had a loose tooth, and Devin took care of it like a pro.

Quick gator fact: alligators naturally lose and replace teeth throughout their lives, so a loose tooth is all part of the process. Some alligators can go through thousands of teeth over a lifetime, which is just another reason these animals are so incredible.
