Combined Naval Event 2026

This week, Quantum was proud to exhibit at the Combined Naval Event in Farnborough, UK.

It was a great opportunity to connect with partners, navies, and shipyards from across the industry, and to exchange perspectives on the future of maritime defense.   Conferences and keynotes highlighted how the sector is evolving, from new developments in naval capability and defense technology, to the continued growth of autonomous platforms across a wide range of sizes and configurations.

The new, electric system reduces energy consumption by up to 80% and increases performance by 30% with enhanced fin range, speed and constant torque.

This unit has been installed aboard MY DOUBLE HAVEN, a 51m motor yacht completed by Feadship in 1993 and fully refitted in 2026.

This week, our team went to the Seatrade Cruise Global event in Miami, one of the key gatherings for the global cruise industry.

The largest event to date in the 41 year history of Seatrade. Conference discussions centered on port infrastructure, decarbonization pathways, and the rollout of new onboard technologies.

2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show

One of our favorite shows! The Q Team attended a number of events at the Palm Beach Show, including the ISS Educational seminars, covering AI and Nuclear Power and celebrated the unveiling of the new Abeking & Rasmussen, 70m ARuby superyacht concept.

Another highlight... seeing the 51-meter (167.3 ft) Feadship – DOUBLE HAVEN, recently fitted with Quantum’s new e-FIN system. Looking back, a very successful show!

German Superyacht Conference (GSC) 2026
Hamburg, Germany

GSC, organized by Boote Exclusiv, brought together 150 industry professionals from shipyards, designers, suppliers, and owners to discuss technology, design, and the German superyacht sector.

Quantum’s Sales Manager, Sascha Meinhardt, was invited to present. He discussed seasickness and the important role stabilizer technology plays in delivering onboard comfort.

The presentation was well received, along with other insightful speeches on yacht design, trends and other geopolitical topics, shaping the future.
