A great day in Orlando for CFBAA’s 2nd Annual Safety Standdown at CAE. ✈️

We were honored to have Hop-A-Jet’s very own Barry Ellis take the stage and share a real-world perspective on activating an Emergency Response Plan and the lessons that come when preparation is put into action.

Bonus: we got to fly over for the event and check out CAE’s Global 6500 simulator while we were there. 👀

On Wednesday, September 30, Hop-A-Jet Director of Operations Barry Ellis will speak at the 2nd Annual Central Florida Business Aviation Association Safety Standdown in Lake Nona, Florida.

Barry’s fireside chat, “When the Plan Becomes Real: An ERP Activation,” will offer a firsthand perspective on activating an Emergency Response Plan during an actual aircraft emergency, including the critical first hours, lessons learned, and the importance of having a plan established before it is needed.

Did you know fewer than 2% of U.S. charter operators hold ARGUS Platinum Elite?

There's a reason the number is so small.

Qualifying for Platinum Elite requires at least two consecutive Platinum audits with no significant findings, and the oversight continues after the rating is earned. Maintenance and operations are reviewed every six months, with a company-wide review every two years.

Hop-A-Jet is proud to hold ARGUS Platinum Elite, along with several other safety certifications.
