That V12 crankshaft we showed you? It didn’t pass inspection, so out it goes.
When a crankshaft requires a forklift to move it, you know you’re dealing with some serious diesel hardware. Next up: a fresh replacement and another step forward on this MTU rebuild.

Not every part gets a second chance.
TDW is deep into multiple MTU rebuilds, and that means inspecting, measuring, and testing every component before it goes back together.
This crankshaft didn’t pass inspection, and if it’s not right, it doesn’t go back in. A fresh replacement is going in its place.
Test it. Verify it. Build it right.
