I’m sure, just like myself, many of you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when you heard the news. I was in a South Jersey Elementary School, in my home room class. The teachers stopped everything, turned the news on in every classroom, and eventually sent us all home early that day. I was 8 years old and didn’t fully understand until years later what truly transpired on this tragic day in 2001. When I could comprehend the situation, the anger and frustration boiled over. I believe the understanding that we lost a lot of innocent lives that day, including 343 of our finest firefighters, is what pushed me to become a firefighter myself at the age of 16. That part of my life extended a total of 10 years serving my community the best that I could. I have always had strong feelings towards what happened on 9/11 and I can promise you, I will never forgive and I will never forget. So, can you tell me where you were?

Vessel: 180 ft Offshore supply vessel

Location: NE United States(CT/RI/MA/VA)

Position: 2nd mate (3rd in charge of wheelhouse)

Pay: DOE, travel reimbursement up to $500 each way with valid receipts. Pay day occurs on a period of every two weeks.

Scope: Vessel mainly works wind farm and government contracts. You’ll be responsible for navigational watch and dynamic positioning operation. No DPO license required.

Requirements: 100 GRT Master or Mate, STCW BT(Basic Firefighting, CPR/First Aid, PST, PSSR), TWIC card

Opportunity for future temp and full time positions if interested after this period.
