Welcome to DC Adam, Dyche, and Ben! Excited to have them in town for Wreaths Across America tomorrow.

Adam and Dyche were on the inaugural Bridge to History trip in 2022, and Ben joined us this past October. It’s really exciting to see the crossover from the programs. It’s been non stop tent building and adventuring since the boys met.

In honor of their first trip out here I presented them with the challenge coin from our very dear friends at Greater Peoria Honor Flight. Phyllis Piraino has been an integral part of Operation Meatball and Bridge to History. And it’s great to share a piece of that with the boys.

After spending last week at Fort Bragg, Dyche and Adam traveled to Fort Knox to visit the George Patton Museum of Leadership.

To bring Bridge to History full circle, Adam and Dyche visited the museum for the 82nd Airborne. They have a replica of the church at Sainte-Mère-Église and John Steele's parachute. It's hard to believe they were in Sainte-Mère-Église just seven months ago. Bridge to History and Liberty Phillips have changed and brightened their worlds immensely.

Dyche and Adam got to meet Bob Devinney, a paratrooper at the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Devinney is the only WWII vet at All American Week. A current paratrooper is his es**rt.

Dyche's trip to Europe was once in a lifetime. This trip to Fort Bragg is, too. Bridge to History has made the flame that was a little boy's love of WWII into a forest fire.
