This one was a hot tub removal… but it got me thinking.

When I started Picnic Services LLC about 5 years ago, it felt like there were maybe three of us doing junk removal around here. Fast forward to today and I swear there are almost as many people hauling junk as there are churches in Woodland Park… one on every corner 😂

And honestly? That’s okay. We’re thankful for every customer that’s trusted us over the years and helped us keep growing.

What hasn’t changed is how we do things: show up, work hard, communicate, clean up after ourselves, and treat people right.

Whether it’s an old hot tub, remodel debris, furniture, construction cleanup, or that mystery pile that’s been “temporary” since 2021… we’d love to help.

We’ve recently wrapped up three bathroom makeovers and we’re pretty excited about how they turned out.

We’ll be out hauling pine needle bags today (4/14)! 🍂

Got a pile stacking up in your yard or sitting along the side of your house? Let’s get them gone!

It’s great to clean up those needles—but 75 bags sitting there doesn’t do much good. We’ll take care of the heavy lifting and haul them away for you.

This project has been a labor of love!

We just wrapped up tongue & groove throughout this barndominium, along with custom trim that we stained and polyurethaned to bring out that natural wood beauty. We also installed all doors (including those clean barn doors), kitchen cabinetry, and bathroom vanities to tie everything together.

Now here’s the real story…
This building didn’t exactly start out easy. It was built pretty rough, and we had to correct just about everything along the way to get it to this final result. Lots of problem-solving, adjustments, and working through change orders—but that’s what we do.

At the end of the day, we got it done to the client’s vision, and it’s turning out looking AWESOME!! (just waiting on a few final materials to button it up).

Sometimes we get so focused on the work… we forget to grab the “before” pics. 😅
But trust me — this bathroom needed some love.

This space used to have a fiberglass tub/shower surround with an old glass door, linoleum floors, a tiny toilet, and all the classic dated fixtures and cabinets you’d expect. Now it’s sporting clean modern lines, fresh flooring, a new vanity setup, updated lighting, and a shower that actually feels like it belongs in this century.

Nothing flashy, just solid craftsmanship and a clean, functional space for the homeowners to enjoy.
