The struggle is real! 😅

These are the messages we absolutely love receiving. Knowing that children enjoyed their time at Roots of Curiosity so much that they’re struggling to understand why camp is over or why they can’t come back until next month means the world to us.

Our goal is for every child who walks through our doors to feel loved, seen, valued, and excited to learn. Watching friendships grow, confidence bloom, and hearing how much they can’t wait to come back is the greatest compliment we could receive. ❤️

👩‍🍳🍓 Summer Camp starts TOMORROW for our 4–6 year olds! 🍓👩‍🍳

We are so excited to kick off a week full of hands-on cooking, creativity, learning, and FUN! Our little chefs will be mixing, measuring, tasting, and exploring new foods while building confidence and making sweet memories along the way. ☀️🥄

If you missed registration for our younger group, don’t worry! We have another round of camp in July for our littles. AND we still have a few openings available in our older summer camp classes. Spots are limited, so be sure to reach out soon if you’d like more information.

We can’t wait to see all of our campers tomorrow and start cooking up some summer fun! 💚

Summer is better with a village (and easier when someone is helping you keep the kids active and entertained!) ☀️✨

We are SO excited for all of the fun we have planned for June. From blackberry picking and STEM play to story time, building activities, and bilingual learning fun… this month is packed with opportunities for moms to connect while the littles learn, explore, and play together.

Here’s what’s coming up 👇

📚 6/1 — Story Time with Forney Police
A fun morning at Forney Community Park with stories, community connection, and a chance for the kids to interact with local officers in a positive and engaging way.

🫐 6/5 — Blackberry Picking at Ham Orchards
One of our favorite summer traditions. Fresh air, sweet berries, and memory-making with the kids at Ham Orchards.

🌎 6/10 — Los Bichitos Learning
A playful bilingual learning experience designed to spark curiosity and connection for little learners. We will take a little hike, do a scavenger hunt and a craft and then the kids will be free to explore and play in the mud kitchen!

🛠️ 6/19 — Building with Bitty Builders
Hands-on building fun where kids can create, explore, and use their imagination while moms connect and chat nearby.

🧪 6/22 — Creativity and Curiosity Inspiring Stations at Roots of Curiosity
Interactive sensory activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play.

This is what FIT4MOM is all about. Not just workouts… but community, connection, playdates, conversation, and having somewhere to go with people who genuinely get this season of life. 💛

Tomorrow is the BIG day and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community! 🎉✂️

Join us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Roots of Curiosity! We’ll have a bounce house for the kiddos starting at 11:30am, so bring the whole family and come hang out with us! 🛝💕

This school has been built with so much love, prayer, and purpose, and we are so excited to celebrate this journey with all of you.

And after the celebration… it’s full speed ahead getting everything ready for CAMP next week!! ☀️🌿 We are counting down the days and cannot wait to make memories with your kiddos this summer.

Our worship night on Saturday was so incredibly sweet 🤍

There’s something so special about gathering together, meeting new people in our community, sharing conversations around the fire pits, and simply slowing down together. Nights like those remind us why we created Roots of Curiosity — to build a place that feels like home and community, not just a school.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it so meaningful. We loved connecting with each of you!

And don’t forget — THIS THURSDAY is our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from the Forney Chamber of Commerce! 🎉✂️ Open to the public, so bring your friends and family! We’ll have a bounce house for the kiddos and would love for you to come celebrate this exciting milestone with us.
