The campground opens May 18th! Here’s some friendly reminders to prepare for the 2026 camping season:

🏕️ Campground quiet hours are 10pm - 6am

🐾 Dogs and pets are welcome, but must remain on a leash and remain under owner supervision at all times.

✅ Check in time is 4pm and checkout time is 12pm. Reservation tags will be located at the designated campsite as we are now fully self check-in.

❌ Alcohol is strictly prohibited under Title 36 in the campground and throughout the rest of the park.

📲 Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance and can no longer be paid for at the park office. Visit https://www.recreation.gov/gateways/394 for more information and reservations!

It’s been a busy spring, but that’s dock #57 of 57 docks. All in, electric is hooked up, water is on, bath house is open. Let the games begin.

After three long days, the last piling is going in. Lots of work for everyone. Big thanks to Josh Sasfai and his crew and as always, a huge thank you to the “glue”, our volunteer who is critical in holding this place together, Terry Anthony!
