It was a hot one today ☀️
The last stop on our trip. We seen the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, and we rode around on a hop on hop off bus. We did a quick stop for some Macarons 💗 and we sweat our butts off 😂
We’ve had an amazing time with a great group of friends, but we can’t wait to be home in the air conditioning 😜😂 but we can officially check 6 new countries off of the list 🌎✔️
So thankful for this life 🫶🏻

A place I would love to come back and see more of. We didn’t have a super long day but we seen as much as we could. We went to the flower market, which I would highly recommend! Then we did a canal tour with wine and cheese 🧀 we did a little shopping and finished the day with stroopwafel 🧇

I finally made it to Hogwarts 🧙🏻⚡️ we did a tour to Alnwick Castle which is the castle that inspired Hogwarts and they filmed some of the scenes from the movies here. The Duke and Dutchess of Northumberland still live here which is kind of crazy. Then we headed into the town Tynemouth and went to the market ✨

We had a busy day today! We walked a lot and rode the hop on hop off bus! 🚌
We started at the Scott monument, seen the castle from the princess gardens and the Ross fountain. Then we made our way to Greyfriar Kirkyard to see Tom Riddells gravesite 🪦 (for the Harry Potter fans IYKYK). We seen the Elephant house where J.K Rowling wrote the Harry Potter books. I stopped to get a Labaabaa 🐑 we headed to Victoria street (inspo for Diagon Alley) and the Royal Mile. And then we made a pit stop in Deans Village on our way back to the ship 🚢

The highlands.
A dream to go see the highlands coo’s 🐮😭
We had a busy day with our tour guide Mike, who owned the tour company and was phenomenal.
We went to see the highland cows, Loch Ness (no Nessie sightings🐍 🥲), we seen some sights of inspiration for outlander, Cawdor castle and Erqhardt Castle, and we even learned some about the Mackay Clan. There’s some cool family history here 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We would definitely come back to the highlands 🐮

We started our day in downtown Belfast, and then headed to the peace wall. From there we headed out to the Giants Causeway and did a little climbing 🪨 we made a quick stop at the oldest licensed distillery in the world, and ended the day at the dark hedges 🪾 a rainy but successful day in Ireland 🇮🇪

Running on no sleep in VERY hot weather ☀️
We walked to see everything we could because we only had 1 day, and I’d say we did pretty good! We had a great day with our group and we’re heading to the cruise ship today! 🛳️
