I established Go Go-Gettas Transport LLC in July 2019 and made the bold decision to commit to it full-time in May 2020. Prior to this, I held a managerial position in the plasma industry, which I had anticipated would be my long-term career path. However, I decided to take a leap of faith, relying on my business acumen and experience in managing another company to drive my own success. The initial stages were challenging, but I set a goal to achieve an annual gross income of at least $75,000, comparable to my previous salary, in my first year. Despite facing numerous obstacles, I persevered, drawing on my experience of overcoming challenges while running someone else's company. My mantra has always been to 'be the change you want in life and get things done.' I practiced what I preached, and six years later, Go-Gettas Transport LLC continues to thrive, with four 1-ton trucks and four 48-foot gooseneck trailers, as well as two owner-operators, making a team of six. It's a great feeling when I pull up to a shipper and all my trucks take up all four loading bays at the same time, and I still have one truck waiting to get loaded next. I'm so proud of myself to the max. My advice is to keep God first, never stop believing, keep pushing through obstacles, and focus on continuous improvement from one year to the next. P.S. Don't wait until tomorrow when you can get s**t done today!!!!!!!
