Please see update from Brownstown township regarding construction 🚧 at Van Horn & Arsenal starting Friday July 25.
Please plan accordingly for the August food distribution. We will still be distributing like normal on the second Thursday of the month.

UPDATE VAN HORN/ARSENAL PROJECT:

Due to contractor availability, improvements originally scheduled to start on July 14 were delayed but work will now begin this FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025. During construction, the intersection will be closed and traffic will follow detour routes (details are in the press release).

Wayne County expects the intersection to reopen on or before September 2, 2025. Any remaining work after that date will be done while keeping the intersection open, using flag control as needed. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Food distribution for anyone interested on Tuesday in Woodhaven.

We are hosting several drive-up food distributions per day Monday-Friday this week. Anyone in need of food is encouraged to attend, and will receive 36 pounds of nutritious groceries, like milk, fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and other shelf- stable items. Please share!
