NOW HIRING - REGIONAL CLASS A CDL VAN DRIVER

As we continue to expand at Thorson Farms Trucking, we are looking for our next team members. This open position consists of delivering van freight in Illinois and across the Midwest. Candidates must be willing to stay out Monday-Friday, however there is a possibility of being home more frequently. This is a full time position with year round work as well as benefits and paid time off. Below is a list of minimum requirements to be considered for the position.

Requirements
-2 years Class A CDL experience.
-Current and valid DOT medicial certification
-Clean MVR
-Clean clearing house
-Non auto restricted licenses
-Basic technology skills including email and ELD
-Ability to effectively communicate and provide status updates on loads or issues

Company driver Kristina and Jaason and owner operator Marty at Nestle this evening load Libby’s pumpkin mix.

Our trucks this week will haul approximately 2.5 million pounds of canned pumpkin mix. This comes straight from Illinois Farmers to the plant in Morton IL where it gets canned. From there we help start it on its trip around the world. This Thanksgiving if you are eating pumpkin pie. There is a good chance it was in one of our trailers at some point.

Now Hiring Regional CDL Driver-Dry Van

We are adding another truck in the near future and looking for another driver. This will be a regional driving position with the expectation of being out during the week and home on weekends. There are certain times of the year you could be home nightly depending on customer work load. All drivers are paid a percentage of total truck revenue. PTO and health insurance are available after 60 days of employment.

Minimum Requirements
-Valid Class A CDL and medical card
-2 years of OTR or Regional driving experience
-Must be able to pass pre employment drug test
-Clean MVR and drug clearing house
-Must have the ability to run basic technology for ELDs and E-mail
-Must be able to manage HOS appropriately to complete your assignments and communicate with dispatch any issues you are having.
