Our "First Mile Last Mile" grant-funded project, delivered in conjunction with Flagstaff City Government, is aimed at improving the first and last mile of transit trips, which generally occur on foot or bike. These crosswalks will offer a significant safety boost to Route 3 riders in the Soliere corridor.

The improvements are part of the “First Mile, Last Mile Initiative,” which aims to add safe pedestrian infrastructure near Mountain Line bus stops

UPDATE: Due to mechanical failure of the striping equipment, roadway striping operations along Cedar Avenue and the Fourth/Lockett Roundabout will be postponed. Cedar Avenue and the Fourth/Lockett Roundabout are open to all traffic and no further work will be done this weekend. More information will be provided once a new date for roadway striping is determined.

🚧 Traffic Alert: Cedar Avenue Closure 🚧

Cedar Avenue will be closed to all traffic from West Street to the Fourth/Lockett roundabout from Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31, as crews complete final roadway striping work.

The closure includes the Fourth/Lockett roundabout, with all areas reopening on Monday, June 1.

This work marks the final phase of roadway improvements along Cedar Avenue as part of the Spruce Wash Suite of Projects. The striping completed last fall was temporary for winter conditions, and crews will now install the final roadway markings.

Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and thank you for your patience while this project is completed.
