To our valued Marion community,

​First, I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has relied on TownLink Transportation Services for their daily travel, errands, and appointments. Serving you has been a privilege, and I truly appreciate the trust you’ve placed in me.

​I am writing to share an important update regarding daily local operations. Due to the current market conditions in Marion—where the high reliance on informal ride options and unpredictable rideshare apps makes full-time, local-only coverage unsustainable—I am shifting my primary focus for local, on-demand dispatching to Kokomo.

​I apologize for any inconvenience this shift causes for those who relied on local, on-demand rides in Marion. However, TownLink Transportation Services is not leaving Marion entirely.

​While spontaneous local runs in Marion are currently paused, I am fully available for pre-scheduled regional transportation and airport transfers, including:

​Airport runs to Indianapolis International (IND) and Fort Wayne International (FWA)
​Scheduled regional trips from Marion to Kokomo, Anderson, Muncie, Fort Wayne, and surrounding areas

​I remain committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional service. If community demand for dependable, dedicated local transportation in Marion increases in the future, I will happily evaluate bringing full-time local dispatching back

It’s funny how the second you pivot away from a market, your phone starts ringing off the hook from it.

​Ever since I shifted my focus away from local runs in Marion to stick strictly to regional routes and airport transfers, the calls haven't stopped. Everyday local folks looking for a lift across town are still dialing, which begs the question: Where is everybody else at?

​Seriously—where are the Ubers? Where are the Lyfts? Where are all the other rideshare drivers and local cabs in Grant County?

​When you’re actively out on the streets grinding every day, it feels like the market is flooded or everybody's vying for the same fares. But the moment a reliable, dedicated operator steps back to adjust their business model, the massive gap in local transportation becomes painfully obvious.

​People still need to get to work, run to the grocery store, make doctor appointments, or just get from point A to point B. Yet when they open up the apps, it’s endless load screens, "no drivers available," or surge pricing that makes a 5-minute trip cost a fortune.

​It proves two things:

​There is a serious shortage of dependable local drivers in smaller markets like Marion. App-based rideshare simply isn't taking care of secondary markets the way people think it is.

​Word of mouth and reputation stick around long after you change directions. When people find someone who is prompt, reliable, and treats them right, they save that number and keep calling.

​I appreciate every single person who continues to reach out and support my business. While my focus now is strictly on long-distance regional transport, inter-city trips, and airport runs, it really makes you wonder who is going to step up to handle the local demand in town.

​To all the independent drivers out there: the demand in Marion is clearly sitting right there on a silver platter. Who’s going to step up and fill the void?

Just a friendly reminder that TownLink Transportation Services has pivoted to providing airport transportation and out-of-town rides only for now.

I might eventually return to providing local service if the demand picks up in the future however until then if you are heading to the Indianapolis International Airport , Fort Wayne International Airport , or need transportation to Muncie, Anderson, Kokomo, or other central Indiana cities TownLink is still available and ready to help facilitate that transport request.

Notice: As of today September 1st, 2026 I no longer provide local transportation. I have enjoyed the last couple months of providing transportation for the citizens of Marion and Grant County however the current volume of business is no longer sustainable.

I will continue to provide regional transportation from city to city as well as area airports. If you need a ride from Marion to Fort Wayne or Indianapolis please give me a call.

I apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause however it's purely a necessary business decision that had to be made. I appreciate those who have used the service and all of you who followed, liked,and shared my page and posts.

Starting today, we are officially shifting our focus to long-distance and regional transportation only.

While we are moving away from quick local in-town rides, we are fully open and ready to get you where you need to go across Indiana!

🚘 Services Offered:

Airport Transfers: Direct service to Indianapolis International (IND), Fort Wayne, and surrounding regional airports.

Inter-City Runs: Travel between cities across Central and Northern Indiana (e.g., Marion to Fort Wayne/Indy, Logansport to Kokomo/Indy, and surrounding areas).

Scheduled Travel: Reliable, door-to-door transportation booked in advance.
