Gordy Tool, Inc. Metalworking Job Shop, machining, fabricating The work we do includes:
• Production Machining; producing customers parts and shipping by a specified due date.

We also offer what we call “store room items” where we machine and store parts until the customer needs them and ship small quantities (Just in time) as needed reducing the customer’s inventory. We make the parts in higher volume to reduce setups and improve efficiencies and the customer gets better pricing and has the satisfaction of knowing the parts are available when they need them.
• Repair a

nd Maintenance type machining; such as boring and bushing bearing housings, making or repairing a shaft, welding up a mold cavity and re-machining it etc.
• CAD/CAM Design & Engineering; ability to import/export most file types and can provide detailed layouts based on an existing part or hand drawn sketch. We can also take 2D files and create 3D solid models.
• CNC & Manual Milling & Turning; large or small volume
• Prototype & Specialty Parts; ability to design and make tooling to produce small or large volume of parts with a short turnaround time.

We have an immediate need for a Journeyman Machinist. A minimum of 5 years experience is required and candidate must be able to operate a horizontal boring mill, manual lathes and milling machines. Individual must be a team player and must pass a health physical and a routine drug test. We offer competitive wage and benefits. CNC experience is desirable but not required. Individual must have their own tools and be competent in working with detailed drawings.
