UPDATE: Wobblekins, Tater Tot, and Pebbles have been spotted and are on their way to their new homes! Check in next week to meet the new Nature Monsters.

Good Morning from our first Nature Monsters of the summer, Wobblekins, Tater Tot, and Pebbles! These three are out exploring Yunker Farm Park (1201 28th Ave, Fargo, ND), and they are waiting for visitors 🍃🌳

Yunker Farm Park is a huge park, clocking in at around 55.62 acres, one of the largest in Fargo. Yunker Farm Park is the location of quite a few community partners, including Homeward Animal Shelter, Northern Plains Bota and formerly the home of the Children’s Museum. This park has something for everyone; from the dog park, to the playground, the community garden plots, and future home to some amazing amenities (Yunker Farm Master Plan), we invite you to take a look at this awesome North Fargo park!

Today's mission is to find these three Nature Monsters, who are safe and nestled in their eggs, and provide them with a loving home. It's a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure to be quick on your feet! Once you discover a Nature Monster, please be sure to comment on this Facebook post to let everyone know it's been found for the week. 🍃👾Our Nature Monsters return to Fargo once again for an exciting summer as they look for their forever homes! Every Wednesday through August 19, (weather pending, Monsters don't like the rain) we'll show a picture of a handful of these adorable little creatures, as well as a local park you can find them in. The first to collect one has gained a new friend for life!

The weather coming in today has delayed the arrival of our Monsters, but don't worry! You can head out to the parks tomorrow to find our first friends.

First, we have a few favors to ask of our amazing community:

🌟When you find a Nature Monster, please comment on our weekly Facebook post to let everyone know it's been found for the week. Since we can't monitor their status until the next day, we're relying on those who discover them to notify us.

🌟 We welcome you to share a picture of your new monster friend in the comments of our weekly post. We'd love to see our little gems heading to fun-filled homes!

🌟If, after 24 hours, we haven't received confirmation that a monster has been found, we'll provide a clue to help you on the search!

🌟To give everyone a chance, please limit your monsters to one per family. We have a wonderful community eager to provide a loving home to our nature-loving friends.

🌟Rest assured, the monsters aren't hiding in hard-to-find places. They're not perched high up in trees or in dangerous areas. We want kids of all ages to participate, so think at a little kid's level of exploration.

🌟Most importantly, let's have FUN!

Get ready, as the adventure starts tomorrow! Keep your eyes peeled for the first park and monsters to embark on an epic journey!

Island Park Pool is hosting a swim meet for the FM Gators Swim Team, Friday, June 12-Sunday, June 14! 🏊‍♂️ We’re excited to welcome nearly 400 swimmers and their families from across the upper-Midwest for a weekend of racing, cheering, and community fun.

The Island Park Pool will be closed to general admission during the tournament. Those with pool passes for Island Park Pool are able to use their pass at any of the other four Fargo Parks outdoor pools during this time. 🌊 Visit FargoParks.com/Outdoor-Pools for hours and details on Davies, Madison, Southwest, and Roger G.
