"Today on my way to work around 715am, driving through west De Pere heading to I41 (at 41 & Main St in De Pere), one of your trucks with trailer #3050 (I didn’t get a truck #, sorry) was heading toward the highway as well.
In De Pere there are so many round-abouts and it’s extremely difficult to see pedestrians who need to cross the road, and especially this being a 2 lane on either side and a main thoroughfare. Your driver was in the right lane (I was in the left) and was extremely cognizant of a woman pushing a stroller who was waiting at the crosswalk.

Your driver saw her well ahead of time, slowed and stopped so she could cross safely.

I have seen so many vehicles (trucks, autos, motorcycles, etc.) just blow through the crosswalks when there are people waiting or crossing.

I wanted to be sure to let you know that this driver was so attentively driving. Being a De Pere resident and seeing the opposite more often than not, I am extremely grateful.

Please if you could pass this along to the driver a huge THANK YOU and that it’s appreciated.

After the Union Army captured New Orleans in 1862, slave owners in Confederate states migrated to Texas with more than 150,000 enslaved Black persons. For 3 years, even after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved Black Americans in Texas remained in brutal bo***ge, immorally and illegally deprived of their freedom and basic dignity. On June 19, 1865 — over 2 years after President Lincoln declared all enslaved persons free — Major General Gordon Granger and Union Army troops marched to Galveston, Texas, to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation and free the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas.

Those who were freed from bo***ge celebrated their long-overdue emancipation on June 19. Today, our Nation commemorates Juneteenth: a chance to celebrate human freedom, reflect on the grievous and ongoing legacy of slavery, and rededicate ourselves to rooting out the systemic racism that continues to plague our society as we strive to deliver the full promise of America to every American.

Trailer Mechanic with $2000 signing bonus. We will train the right candidates.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Trailer servicing.
Records time spent, parts used and repair work performed.
Diagnose trailer malfunctions and recommends and preforms appropriate repairs.

Preventive maintenance,
DOT inspections.
Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or safety items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to shop manager

Qualifications:
