Running a business is hard on its own — being the owner, the mechanic, the accountant, the office manager — wearing every hat there is. But nothing compares to watching someone you love battle cancer.
If I could have taken the pain away and traded places with Laurie, I would have in a heartbeat. Instead, you sit, you watch, you hope, and you do everything you can to encourage them… to remind them that positivity matters, that strength is contagious, and that they’re not fighting alone.

Through this chapter, I learned what true support really looks like.
To all my clients, friends, and family who checked on us — thank you. Your messages, your patience, and your understanding while I balanced running my business and being at appointments with Laurie meant more than I can ever express.

And today, I get to share the best news of all:
Laurie is in remission.
After everything she has fought through, those words mean more than anyone could ever understand.

No one expects their world to flip upside down. And moments like this remind you that all the money in the world can’t fix an illness — but love, support, and community can make the battle a little less heavy.
