So… our guests and dear friends, Gary and Lisa, were enjoying coffee on the deck of the cabin. They were getting pelted by acorns falling from the surrounding oak trees, so they donned the quickest protection they could find.

Around noon Sunday, Amazon dropped off a package at our home (Amazon is a drug, I tell ya’). In it were colorful ”Acorn Protection Headgear” they ordered for us while having coffee Saturday morning.

Surprisingly, the acorns stopped dropping about noon on Sunday. However, thanks to Gary and Lisa, we are prepared for next year…and we don’t need to up our liability insurance! 🤩🤩

Just had the best celebration on the lake with our amazing guests! Who else wants to spend their special day making wave...
