Ladies and gentlemen please remember if you are walking or running across the the overhead walkway to the other platform to catch a train, please keep to the right to avoid running into people going the other direction. This also speeds up the boarding process and prevents people from missing the train.

"Candidly, I think we're facing a tough row to hoe in filling our space, so we're trying to do a few things to jumpstart the process," Kurt Wittek, a managing director at Blackrock Realty, LLC, said to about three dozen real estate agents in the Gaelic-American Club on Wednesday morning.…

Bus service is now available at the Fairfield Metro train station! The Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT) bus route number 5 will now originate/terminate at Fairfield Metro Center (although it's at the train station). Service started on Monday this week with the destination of the Bridgeport Bus Station. Bus route number 7 still runs on Commerce Drive (the road on the New York bound platform) however there is no stop at the station itself. For more information on the bus route and the schedule, click on this link: http://www.gogbt.com/index.php?page=route-ruta-5
Despite what the web page says about service being added in the future, I saw a bus last night with the destination of Fairfield Metro Center on the front of the bus so they just have not updated the page yet.

NOTE: Service to and from Fairfield Metro Center will be added in the future. Please check back for the offical start date.
