This weekend, the 45th Annual Chester County Safety Competition was held at the Marsh Creek Sixth Grade Center. Eagle Wolfington had an incredible turnout, with 22 bus drivers competing and 14 team members participating as judges. It was especially great to see so many first-time competitors and newer drivers step up and take part. Their enthusiasm and commitment to safety truly stands out!
A special congratulations goes out to Quincy Peterson, who placed in the top 10. What makes this truly impressive is that Quincy has only been with us for 8 months and has been driving a school bus for that same amount of time. This achievement is a true testament to the training that is provided to our drivers and to the strong safety culture that we’ve built together. Way to go Quincy! We’re so proud of you!
Additionally, the Downingtown Area School District driving team took 2nd place – another fantastic accomplishment!
Quincy will be advancing to the state competition this summer, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way!
Big thanks to everyone who participated, judged, prepared for, and supported this awesome event. The team’s dedication helps keep safety at the forefront of everything we do.
