We're recognizing the hardworking drivers and transportation team members who help keep the world fed during Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

The miles they travel and loads they handle help connect food producers, retailers and consumers across the cold chain. But their impact goes beyond deliveries. Our team is actively exploring ways to reduce the emissions from our transportation operations, including a recent collaboration with Puget Sound Clean Air Agency to deploy an all-electric truck, which was partially funded by a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Our Novi team members recently participated in Community Impact Day with the Novi Chamber of Commerce, joining organizations across Michigan for a day dedicated to giving back and strengthening local communities. From supporting local nonprofits to helping beautify public spaces, it was a great opportunity to roll up our sleeves and make a meaningful impact across the Novi community.

Thank you to Living and Learning Enrichment Center, Fuerst Park, Hospitality House Food Pantry, Kindness Council and Waltonwood Senior Living for welcoming our team and for the important work you do to support communities every day.
