Seymour, Tennessee has a gem in the community! LIVE-IT Ministries is a thrift store with a calling! The thrift store gives back to the community with each purchase made. They help elders in the community who may need repairs to their home and give back so much more to others! The cutest little coffee shop and cafe (The Bridge Coffee House) sits in the back with outdoor seating! I personally love the avocado toast and any seasonal drink! My college student loves doing his work under the tree on the patio or by the creek where it’s peaceful and offers picnic tables. Additionally, there is serenity trail with rocks to find with sweet messages. Off the trail you will find a large field with a playground. If you make it to Seymour, this is a place you don’t want to drive by without stopping!e t

Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion has puked all over Pigeon Forge, TN this weekend! Have you ever been? Cruise through PF and find tons of unique jeeps and games! Who saw the sweet little giving away crochet ducks she personally made?! If you went to the Leconte Center and paid $20 you possibly got glimpses of Jeep gladiators on steroids! If you haven’t been go now or come back next year! Heart your favorite Jeep, post yours or maybe some you saw this weekend below!

Bell’s Marina and Resort is located on Lake Marion in Eutawille, SC. Eutawille is a small town located about an hour from Charleston, SC. Bells offers a nostalgic hotel, glamping tent and RV sites. The resort offers a grill, snacks and a marina with kayak rentals. Be Careful, you may see an alligator like we did. Some boaters were kind enough to let my kids check it out. Be sure to drive a short distance for lunch at The Twist! It was delicious!

Myrtle Beach 🏝️

Where to stay: The Caravelle Resort Myrtle Beach is right on the beach. The resort has a sundeck, arcade, kiddie area, lazy river, pool, Italian ice and a pool side bar with mocktails. We stayed at this Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com/l/ebRMdN26. It was clean and very price friendly.

Where to eat 🦀: The Giant Crab is a delicious seafood buffet with 170 items including all you can eat crab legs! Try the shecrab soup! $47.99 for adults, $21.99 for children (7-12) and $7.99 for littles (6 and under). Look in the Myrtle Beach coupon books for discounts. Wet Willie's Myrtle Beach, SC has a very small menu but everything we ordered was surprisingly delicious! We had the Philly burger, buffalo chicken wrap, chicken quesadillas and chicken tenders and fries.

Where to shop: Broadway at the Beach has something for everyone which include shops, restaurants, rides and attractions! There is even a playground where the men can hangout with the kids while the women shop😉Tanger and Coastal Mall if you want more traditional shops.

Attractions: Alligator Adventuredventure is a must with kids! There are all sorts of animals and reptiles to enjoy. Be sure to attend the shows that run every hour.

Memphis, Tennessee!
Home to Elvis and the blues!

For all the Elvis lovers splurge a little more and stay at The Guest House at Graceland (hotels.com)! The hotel is gorgeous and features replicas of his beautiful home. Every night at 7pm the hotel plays Elvis movies in the hotel theatre and after serves complimentary peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chocolate milk at 9pm. The hotel offers a gift shop, two restaurants, a bar and coffee shop. Each room has a keurig but of course we had to try the coffee Shake, Rattle And Go! Grab all shook up for an iced latte, Memphis sweet cinnamon (hot) and for the blended lovers try The Elvis! Our last night we had a late dinner at EP’s and shared appetizers: Margarita Flatbread (our favorite), chicken tenders and fries, quesadillas and Papas Locas fries (delicious)! Everywhere in and outside the hotel Elvis Presley music plays 24/7 but if you love live music go to the bar at night.

Elvis Presley's Graceland is amazing but make sure you have plenty of time to visit! There are many exhibits other than the mansion. Restaurants, a coffee shop and seven gift shops are all on the property as well. We spent 6 hours at Graceland but we did take our time observing everything. Opt for the iPad! An hour of our time was spent at Gladys' Diner for lunch. We ordered the family meal which consists of four double cheeseburgers, four fries and four drinks for $53! This meal was delicious and a good proportion! Somehow we were able to sit at the only car table in the restaurant! Makes for a great photo prop! Don’t forget to check out his private jets before leaving.

Beale Street is a small yet fun and bluesy street. Grab a souvenir, watch a performer in the middle of the street or eat barbecue. We ate at B.B. King's Blues Club where there was live music and delicious food! We ordered the blues burger and fries (oh my gosh! So good), shrimp and grits, pulled pork sandwich and catfish po boy. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

We took so many pictures of Graceland but I won’t post them all and spoil you! Take the trip!
