Day before yesterday was captured in about 250 pictures, but the pictures don’t convey the laughter. At first we were disappointed that I took the afternoon off work to hike into Providence Canyon and because the rain had made the trails treacherous we weren’t going to be able to do that. Then, we did a walking/driving historical tour of Eufaula,AL. The area is so rich with history. Pre-Civil war era homes, abandoned buildings that are being refurbished and brought back to life and one of the most amazing cemeteries I’ve ever toured. We laughed until we almost peed ourselves, we discussed pipe dreams of what we’d do with a couple historical homes that were for sale and I’ll admit I held back more than one tear. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Yesterday I took a break from work to heat up some leftovers! When work was done we tried to go explore Providence Canyon, but the time zones messed us up and the park would have closed while we were in the canyon, so we improvised! We did some exploring anyway.

Wow, today was a day! DeSoto falls, upper and lower, Vogel park waterfall, sunrise grocery, Brass town Bald (highest point in GA), Cupid Falls, Marina Station for dinner, then Bell mountain for sunset. G’night!
