So some real news on the Cedar Springs Railroad today. Two new train cars; Conoco tank car #5 & Red River Southern ( # yet to be determined). Also the start of construction on Conoco #15. I already have the tank and trucks for #15. They will all need brakes installed, but I can run the train line through them for now. This will make for a total of 9 narrow gauge cars now.

I will be here selling. Our club will have our N-Trak layout set up as well as a Lionel Layout set up. There will also be other vendors and a N scale T-Trak layout set up. All of this is in the Historic Niota Depot (the oldest depot in Tennessee) which is right next to the very active Norfolk Southern main line. This is always a great show so come out and enjoy. Fun for kids of all ages; 1-99

Now this is the first actual 2.5" scale narrow gauge piece of equipment.
A narrow gauge Denver & Rio Grande Western outside frame K36 2-8-2.
I never got a tender with it, roof or a trailing truck.
I had this for a couple of years until I realized that this engine was too much for me to under take.
I sold it to two guys that had restored another engine that the same man had built.

The second items I got I bought from Bob Fogelsonger in PA.
I bought 4 gondolas and a gas powered SW1200.
I still have the gray gondola and a friend of mine still owns the MEC gondola. The engine was sold to a guy for display in a hobby shop and is shown in the last photo of how he painted it.

I have decided to go back and start at the beginning of when I got into 7.5" gauge Live Steam. (Not when I had first seen Live Steam)
This is the very first car I had and I built it myself.
I offered the plans for this car for Free for many years on line.
They are now available from Discoverlivesteam.com https://www.discoverlivesteam.com/books/DownloadPurchases/DownloadGonPlans/index.html
I finished this car in Aug. 2001 and it was lettered for my HO model railroad at the time.
