🚛 Truck Driver Appreciation Week 🚛

This week is all about the men and women who keep things moving every single day.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our A.M. Express drivers, and to truck drivers everywhere. Your long hours, time away from home, hard work, professionalism, and commitment do not go unnoticed. So much of what we all depend on every day gets where it needs to go because of you.

At A.M. Express, we’ll be celebrating our drivers all week long with:

Snacks & drinks available all week in the driver's lounge.

Monday: Breakfast items, donuts, coffee, juice, fruit, breakfast bars, and more
Wednesday: Our HR/Safety/IT team will be hosting a Big Rig Fiesta with carne asada, carnitas, corn, beans, salsa, and more
Friday: We’ll finish the week with a cookout featuring burgers, brats, hot dogs, salads, desserts, and more
Giveaways throughout the week, too!

More than anything, this week is about saying thank you.

To our A.M. Express drivers — thank you for your dedication, your safety, your professionalism, and for being such an important part of our company and our family.

And to every truck driver out there keeping America moving — we appreciate you.

Happy Truck Driver Appreciation Week!

Thank you employees! Thank you to the catering by Wiles Food Service and Chaison Dreams Farmstand!

What a phenomenal day for our A.M. Express company picnic yesterday. There is something special about being able to sit down and share a meal together. That is such a special thing to do that sometimes we all overlook. It was a great day of food, laughter, and togetherness. I want to give a special shout out to Pat for letting us do this. I would also like to thank Matt with Wiles Food Service for catering a phenomenal meal for us. Also Angie with Chaison Dreams Farmstand for the beautiful and incredibly delicious cookies for dessert. Also, to Mary from M3 for the Yeti cooler that she graciously donated. We also got great donations from our partners at Pomp’s, Loves, Harlon, Truck Equipment, Transflo, Xtra Lease, Build That Brand, Transport Refrigeration and Thermo King, Bridgestone/Firestone, Gladiator Tires, and Bauer Built.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize and plan the event, especially Cindy and Adam. To the drivers who helped set up and tear down, especially Ron, Mike, James, Dee, Wesley, and everyone else who helped clean up. I appreciate you all.

Congratulations to Eric A and his son on being the 2026 A.M. Express company picnic co****le champs.

Thank you again to all of our hard working employees. We hope you enjoyed it!!

We cannot wait to do it again in 2027.

🚛 NEW CDL? EXPERIENCED BUT LOOKING FOR A CHANGE!? START YOUR CAREER SOMEWHERE THAT STILL KNOWS YOUR NAME.

At A.M. Express, we believe a trucking company should be more than a place to gain experience and drive. It should be a place where you can build a career, support your family, and feel like you belong.

That is why we are proud to train new CDL holders and welcome people who are just getting started in the trucking industry. Or maybe you need a change of scenery!

We have opportunities in:

🏠 Local — Home Daily
🟦 Dry Van
⛓️ Flatbed
💧 Non-Hazmat Tanker

We have a surplus of freight and we are growing! We are adding trucks, hiring more shop employees, expanding our maintenance operation, and adding more service bays to support our drivers and equipment.

But growth has not changed who we are.

Our owner has been here since 1994, and many members of our team have spent years building A.M. Express into the company it is today. We have experienced people who care about our drivers, their families, and their success.

At A.M. Express, these are careers—not just jobs.

We still believe in doing things the old-school way:

✅ Knowing our drivers by name
✅ Helping you get home when you need to be home
✅ Welcoming passengers and pets on the road
✅ Keeping communication simple and honest
✅ Providing consistent freight and dependable miles
✅ Treating drivers like people—not truck numbers

Stop into the office for a cup of coffee or a root beer—we even have it on tap! Bring your family by. Let us get to know the people who matter most to you.

We want happy drivers. We want long-term employees. We want people who are proud to say they are part of the A.M. Express family.

Although we hire drivers from outside the Upper Peninsula, we are proudly based in Escanaba, Michigan. We support our local schools and athletic programs, 4-H, charitable organizations, community members, our veterans, and the United States of America.

The trucking industry keeps changing, but we work hard to keep things as simple, stable, friendly, and consistent as possible.

Come visit us and see why A.M. is ahead of the game.
