We are seeking multiple candidates for positions in our Shop.

 Wood Worker: Mid-level skilled position. The successful candidate must have strong math skills, the ability to read a tape measure, have an understanding of blueprints, and good hand/eye coordination and motor skills. Experience with wood working equipment and the ability to lift greater than 100 lbs is necessary.

 Wood Worker: Entry-level assembly position. The successful candidate must have good math skills, the ability to read a tape measure, and good hand/eye coordination and motor skills. Experience with wood working equipment preferred but not necessary. Capable of lifting heavy parts. We will train the right individual who has a strong work ethic.

 Small Parts Assembler: Assemble felt, leather, and wood subassemblies for pipe organs. Small parts are cut or punched using hand tools. Glue and other adhesives are used in putting together the assemblies. Great opportunity for a crafty person.

 Custodian: Part-time position, approximately 25 hours/week. Responsibilities include sweeping shop floors and trash removal. The position also entails cleaning and restocking restrooms. Outdoor tasks include washing windows, weeding shrub beds, and light grounds keeping. Sidewalk snow removal in winter. Other building maintenance tasks as needed.

Now hiring! We are currently looking for a few candidates to fill the following positions.

Pipe Maker: Entry-level position mainly involves hand work- rolling ,soldering, cleaning, and polishing organ pipes. Must have exceptional hand skills and willingness to learn the art of pipe making.

Wood Worker: Entry-level assembly position. The successful candidate must have good math skills, the ability to read a tape measure, and good hand/eye coordination and motor skills. Experience with wood working equipment preferred but not necessary. Capable of lifting heavy parts. We will train the right individual who has a strong work ethic.

Wood Worker- Advanced Level: The successful candidate must be able to work independently at times and also to excel in a team environment to construct a variety of high-end cabinet grade items. Products to be manufactured can range from large batches of small sub-assemblies to complete custom Organ consoles and casework. Responsibilities include a variety of woodworking and mechanical functions, operation of a wide range of woodworking machinery, reading of blue prints and engineering drawings, use of measuring tools and a proficient use of math skills. Candidate must have high-level woodworking skills including basic joinery techniques, familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery, identification of wood species and related knowledge. Candidate must also have proficient math skills including fractional and decimal calculations and familiarity with various measuring devices. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

Pipe Maker:
ENTRY LEVEL APPRENTICE
Candidates must have excellent manual dexterity and the ability to lift 30 lbs or greater on a frequent basis. Metal working experience preferred but willing to train the right person.

Pipe Maker:
SKILLED WITH 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have competency in rounding, soldering, flattening, and cut up of new organ flue pipes as well as technical proficiency in pipe repair. Applicants must also be conversant in the casting process, metal compositions, and numerous variations of pipe anatomy and terminology.

MID-LEVEL SKILLED POSITION
