ETLC track gang (of 2 people) works removing temporary track from an abandoned siding as WM 1107, a Russian Decapod rushes past with a short cut of empties bound for the yard in Elkins.

While the creator of the WM Elkins sub is currently off site running locomotives on the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad, we promise well be back this fall with more updates this September with build updates along the line. Thanks everyone for following!

In the mean time, Climax #9 passes an awating family heading up Knoebels Holler, just outside Thomas WV on a warm summers eve.

Its getting a bit Wild and Wonderful here on the Western Maryland Elkins Sub!

The area known as Knobels Holler, located outside of Thomas, WV., has recently seen a patch of birch trees spring up. The second growth saplings not only serve as a scenery and wind block, but as a start to the vasts forests that cover the majority of the state of West Virginia. More will soon join their ranks.
