One of our favorite things about Erie is the July 3rd fireworks!!!🎇
2026 is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in America. At the same time, Colorado celebrates our 150th anniversary of entering the Union.
In Erie, we are just 5 weeks away from our Independence Day fireworks show that will help kick off the holiday weekend! Launched from the rooftop of the Erie Community Center, it's a show you won't want to miss — with food trucks, vendors, and music all night. 🎵✨
🔹1 p.m.: Campus closure begins (ECC, parking lots, pickleball/tennis courts)
🔹6 p.m.: Event parking opens
🔹All night: Food trucks & vendors on-site 🌮
🔹~9 pm: Fireworks show! (weather/light dependent)
🔹10 p.m.: Event concludes
The 2026 show is present by Piripi.
❤️🩹Safety first: The Town collaborates internally and works closely with licensed pyrotechnicians and Mountain View Fire Rescue to evaluate fire risk, weather conditions, and operational safety. We use close-proximity fireworks designed for tighter settings — smaller fallout area, less debris drift, and tighter fire controls, making them ideal for Colorado's dry summer season. You still get all the magic: aerial bursts, strobes, crackles, glitter, and synchronized music while we maintain safety as a top priority.
