Pennsylvania plays a major part in improvements to the infracture of our country. So, when our customers that are tasked with producing products for these projects, they know who to trust with moving these challenging and odd loads. This one was no match for Ray in truck #244 and Jon in our Safety truck. Under the tarps of this odd looking load are sections of custom fabricated stainless steel that will be used by METRO rail in our nation's capital as part of an ongoing improvement project to their commuter stations. Built by GSM Industrial in Lancaster, these 14' wide by 26' long sections are on their way to CHL Technologies is Souderton, PA for structural inspection and final blasting. Pictured are two of the four loads moved in as many days for this phase of the project. Once completed the Green Fleet will move them to their final destination, where they will provide many years of service to the DC metro lines and it's commuters. High, wide, and heavy; big, bad, and ugly, these moves are unsettling for some. For us, it's what we have been doing for 80 years! Our specialized equipment and highly skilled drivers are why our customers keep coming back. Our team takes great pride in the attention to detail we put into all of these moves. We insure that it will get from point to point as efficiently, efficiently, and above all, safely as possible.
