Why red light? 🚨

Red light preserves both horse and human night vision and it does not inhibit melatonin production like white light does.

We want horses to arrive refreshed at their destinations, not exhausted!

Did you know it can take up to 45 min for horses’ eyes to adjust from dim to bright light or vice versa?

Having a red light in the trailer keeps horses calm during hay and water refreshes as there’s no blinding, bright light switched on for the task.

Albeit, a little salty when the snow starts to fly ❄️❄️❄️

Winter travel is always unpredictable, so we keep plenty of hay and water on board!

A full belly helps keep a horse warm!
That’s another reason why we keep hay bags full the duration of the trip.

We will also blanket horses with owner provided blankets at their request! 🧥
