Some partnerships are built over projects. Others are forged over decades of shared experience, trust, and service.

Thomas Gort and Grant Schacht’s partnership began in the 82nd Airborne and continued through deployments to Afghanistan with Task Force Corsair from 2006–2008. They attended Green Platoon together and were both assigned to C Co, 4/160th SOAR in 2008. Over more than a decade in the Army, they built a lasting friendship and deep professional trust through training, deployments, and countless hours supporting the mission.

Years later, they’re once again working side by side—this time supporting the FIREHAWK program at United Rotorcraft.

While the mission has evolved, the purpose remains the same: helping protect lives, homes, and communities. We’re proud to have team members who bring this level of dedication, experience, and partnership to the work we do every day.
