I’m sorry we lost the Lake Balboa site, However San Bernardino did take us in. If you are a Firefighter this weekend is completely free so please feel free to visit our new sites and thanks so much for putting your life on the line!

We apologize for the change in Pedalboats this last month. The City did not select us to continue running the Pedalboat concession. We are in the process of swapping our newer blue and white Kay Park Pedalboats to our Redondo Beach location and bringing the older yellow ones to the park where they may get auctioned after the change takes place.

Lake Balboa's very own Huey, Dewey, and Louie stopped by to rent a boat today! This trio (Greylag Goose, Canadian Goose, and Ross's Goose; from largest to smallest) can always be found together at While the Ross's Goose is known for intermixing with of various species, they all seem to actively choose to bond together rather than with birds of their same feather. Visit rent a boat for an hour, and relax in this valley oasis! That big city stress is for the birds...
