Heads up! We’re moving this month’s Thug Ride up a week since the Quick n Dirty Filthy 50 is taking over the last Saturday of October.

Join us Saturday, October 24th, for another solid morning of riding bikes, climbing hills, and hanging out with the North County cycling community.

Some assembly required.

The new S-Works Epic 9 frame and fork just landed at Cadence, and this one is going to make for a pretty serious XC race build.

Specialized took its already World Cup-winning Epic platform and pushed it even further. 206 grams lighter, 11% less suspension friction, and refined suspension kinematics designed to turn more of your effort into speed.

Add the RockShox SID Ultimate fork and Flight Attendant suspension technology, and you’ve got a pretty incredible starting point.

Now comes the fun part. Picking the components and putting it all together.

The **2026 Quick n’ Dirty Filthy 50+** is coming up Saturday, October 31—and once again, Cadence Cyclery Encinitas is getting in on the fun.

The 12th annual Filthy 50+ takes riders through San Dieguito River Park and Black Mountain Park, with fast, flowy trails, plenty of miles, and **50+ mile, 30-mile, and kids race options**.

Before race day, skip the early-morning packet pickup chaos and come hang with us at Cadence.

**Okay, this colorway is pretty good. 👀**

The new **S-Works Tarmac SL9** already has the speed part handled. But the white and blue paint, deep Roval carbon, tan-wall Cotton tires, and SRAM RED AXS make this one especially hard to walk past.

Fast bike. Very good outfit.
