The king Mackerel bite was hot this morning, we released six and kept one along with a big Spanish. We finished up jigging with a nice catch of Flounder.
We have open dates this week. Give us a call and let’s catch some fish. Flounder season is open for two weeks, now is the time to catch them.

We finished the trip casting Clarkspoon stick jig to schools of Spanish mackerel busting all around the boat. It’s that time of the year when we get large schools of Spanish mackerel, and false albacore outside of our inlet. We’re looking forward to a lot more casting and catching over the next couple weeks.

Seven year-old Diver and six year-old Carver on board this morning to fine tune their light tackle fishing skills. They did great with some big Spanish Mackerel and a shark that gave them some excellent practice.
After that, we stopped by Sharkstooth Island and collected a few sharks teeth to finish out in the morning.

We have had the best big Spanish Mackerel bite of the year so far. We’ve been catching 3 to 7 pound Spanish Mackerel with light tackle all week with some small king Mackerel in the mix. The Amberjack have also showed back up.
I have a couple openings next week and the forecast looks great, if you want to get in on the action give us a call and let’s go fishing.

Nonstop action with live bait and casting jigs. Big Spanish, small Kings and a few sharks on our morning trip. We left them biting. We could not have asked for better conditions except for the heat. Light winds and calm seas are always fun.
