Elyria Bike Friendly Business

Elyria Bike Friendly Business We can assist you with making your business more bicycle friendly!

Elyria Bike Friendly Business is seeking business that are interested in creating a more welcoming bicycling atmosphere for employees, customers, and the community. A bike friendly business (BFB) is a workplace, business, or general site that is open to the public that has agreed to be both welcoming and accommodating to bicyclists in the community. BFBs go the extra mile to ensure that cyclists o

f all ages and abilities are supported in the community. This includes: providing a proper and safe place for bicycles to be parked, making restrooms available, at no charge for cyclists, providing water upon request from cyclists and providing shelter during inclement weather. In exchange, the City of Elyria, Lorain County Public Health and the Elyria Community Partnership will work to promote and support BFBs throughout the city.
