This week's is GENSET: A portable diesel generator used to power a re**er when the container is traveling by road, rail, or at a terminal without an electric re**er hook-up. Some designs mount to the front of the container while others attach below the chassis. They are not required on a vessel as the box will be plugged into the ship’s electrical system.
