Productive day at the E&NW. More roadbed base was laid down, laid the switch that will head out towards the loading ramp, laid the lead track that heads North out of the engine house and started laying track up the hill headed South. Also done more prep work for the loading area, next on the list is the concrete pad for the loading lift.

Big day for the E&NWRy. 1st locomotive to move on its own power on our tracks!

Very productive day at the E&NWRy. Got almost 20 ton of 3/4” base limestone laid down. Also got the switches going into the engine house put down and some ballast spread.

Another work day at the E&NWRy. Started prep work for the concrete pad that will be used for the loading/unloading transfer table. Also got the rest of the rails laid down in the engine house. We now can start laying track outside in the yard area.

Grade work in the lower yard at the E&NWRy today. We now can officially start laying track.

E&NWRy just took delivery of the 1st of many loads of needed ballast.

Short work day at the Elroy & North Western Railway. Laying rails down in the engine house. Also did some mowing and grounds work. Next scheduled work day is next Saturday.

Another productive workday at the E&NW, on Saturday, April 5. Unloaded half of our shipment of ties into our work area. We got our layout plan for our rail yard and unloading area laid out. We also done some work inside our building. Next step is to start replacing the bad ties on our track panels, hopefully by early June we can start laying gravel out for our roadbed base.
