As the weather turns, temperature swings can turn the inside of a shipping container into a dripping wet mess. If you've ever opened a box to find rusty tools or moldy gear, you know how frustrating "container rain" is. 🌧️📦

Here’s a quick 5-step checklist to keep your container dry:

1. Cross-ventilate: Vents high on one side and low on the opposite side pull air clear through the container. It's the #1 fix.
2. Never load damp gear: Muddy equipment, freshly washed clothes, or wet lumber release tons of moisture into the air.
3. Get stuff off the floor and walls: Use pallets and leave a few inches of space so air can actually flow around your belongings.
4. Use moisture absorbers: Something simple like DampRid works wonders without electricity, especially in rentals.
5. Insulate for big temp swings: Prevents the ceiling metal from reaching the dew point where droplets form.

You don't always need all five—for basic storage, steps 1 through 3 will do most of the heavy lifting.

Delivery day is officially the easiest part of your project! 🚚✨

Bringing a portable storage container right to your driveway gives you the space and flexibility you need for your move, remodel, or job site. To ensure a smooth, effortless drop-off, here are a few simple ways to set your site up for success:

📐 Easy Space Setup: A 20ft container needs about 70 ft of straight-line space for the truck to back in smoothly, plus 14 ft of overhead clearance.

🪵 Pristine Driveway Protection: Laying down simple wood planks (like 2x6 boards) under the four corner points keeps your concrete or asphalt completely protected and helps keep your container level.

🚪 Custom Door Placement: Want the doors facing your garage for easy packing, or toward the street for fast loading? Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll load it at our local yard facing whichever direction works best for your workflow!

🤖 Effortless Precision: Have a tight turn or a narrow setup? Our local drivers bring specialized equipment—including our remote-controlled Box Bot—to place your box gently and precisely right where you want it.

Bonus convenience: For standard driveway deliveries, you don't even need to take time off work to be home! Just mark your spot, and our local team handles the rest.
