The Parade of Steam & Cass Days returns Saturday, June 20th!

The Parade of Steam & Cass Days returns Saturday, June 20th!

Admission to the parade and Cass Days Festivities is FREE!

Attendees will have the opportunity to view all of our operable, steam locomotives, from the Cass parking lot as they move down the rails.

The legendary locomotives will begin staging at the Cass Depot at 10am, with the parade following shortly after and lasting approximately an hour.

Join us on Friday, June 19th for an evening train ride celebrating West Virginia and America’s 250th Anniversary!

The roundtrip ride departing Elkins and travelling to Belington will carry passengers on a leisurely sunset journey through the scenic West Virginia countryside along the banks of the Tygart River to the town of Belington, WV. On the trip, historic interpreters will move thoughout the cars as the train makes its way to Belington. Once in Belington, riders will detrain at the historic Golden Rule Building and be greeted to WV Day / 250th Anniversary festivities which will include live music, living history performers, food and craft vendors, along with various activities for kids.

Join us Friday, June 19th for a special roundtrip ride from Elkins to Belington celebrating the history of our state and nation!

Visit Durbin and drift away in complete solitude onboard the Castaway Caboose! We’ve restored two original Wabash Railroad cabooses into comfortable efficiency suites on rails! Your overnight package includes a round-trip river ride where you will be “cast away” at one of two remote settings.
