• Use Indiana Toll Road exits 77 or 72
• Reduce speed near toll plazas
• Use designated E-ZPass lanes when available
• Tap-to-pay is accepted
• Expect heavier traffic near campus and arrive early
• Follow posted signs and law enforcement directions

🌧️ Preparing for storms starts long before severe weather arrives.

As an MS4, the Indiana Toll Road regularly participates in the Northeast Stormwater Advisory Group, a network of environmental professionals who share knowledge, resources, and best practices to strengthen stormwater management efforts across our communities.

On Sept. 24, 2026, members of the group toured the National Weather Service office in Syracuse, Indiana, to learn more about forecasting tools, weather monitoring, and available resources that can help identify potential storm impacts and support efforts to prevent worksite pollution before and after severe weather events.

Through collaboration and continuous learning, we're helping protect local waterways, support environmental compliance, and strengthen our commitment to environmental stewardship.

🔐 Cybersec_urity Needs U!

Scammers, phishing emails, fraudulent text messages, and online threats are becoming more sophisticated every day. Knowing how to recognize these attacks is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family, and your personal information.

Through our "Cybersec_rity Is Incomplete Without U" Lunch & Learn series, community members are learning practical tips to identify cyber threats, avoid common scams, and report suspicious activity before it becomes a problem.

We're proud to partner with StoryPoint Senior Living, Portage Township YMCA, La Porte County Family YMCA, Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc., and Duneland Family YMCA to help bring cybersecurity education directly to our communities.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and we have more presentations planned. Stay tuned for upcoming dates, times, and locations.

🚧 TRAVEL ADVISORY: BROADWAY ENTRANCE TO ITR EASTBOUND CLOSED SEPT. 28-30

The entrance ramp from Broadway to the Indiana Toll Road eastbound (Exit 14B) will be closed from 6 a.m. CT on Sept. 28 through approximately 6 p.m. CT on Sept. 30, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling on Broadway who need to access the Indiana Toll Road eastbound should use one of the following alternate entrances:

• Buchanan St. (Exit 14A)
• US 12/20 (Exit 17)

Please allow extra travel time and follow posted signage.
