🚗🤝🚛 SHARE THE ROAD: A QUICK REMINDER FOR PASSENGER VEHICLES

Semi-trucks are a big part of keeping America moving, but they also have larger blind spots and need more time and space to stop.

Here are a few simple ways to help keep everyone safe:

👀 Avoid blind spots — If you can’t see the truck driver in their mirrors, they may not be able to see you.

↔️ Give trucks plenty of space — Avoid cutting closely in front of a semi. Give them room to slow down safely.

🚦 Be patient at intersections — Trucks need extra room to turn, especially when making wide right turns.

💡 Use your signals — Let truck drivers know your intentions before changing lanes or merging.

🛣️ Pass safely and completely — When passing a semi, don’t linger alongside it. Make sure you can see the truck in your mirror before moving back over.

Law enforcement across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico will be pulling over commercial vehicles for roadside inspections. This year, inspectors are putting a massive spotlight on brake drums and air disc brake rotors.

Don't let a preventable violation park your truck! Protect your safety score and avoid costly out-of-service fines by tightening up your pre-trip routines now.

What to check before you roll:
• Inspect drums for external cracks or broken sections.
• Check rotors for severe rust, deep scoring, or metal-to-metal friction.
