We want to congratulate and thank Richard for his many years of dedication and loyalty to Opies Transport!
Richard started with us in April 2010 behind the wheel of Truck 437, and next Tuesday, September 1, he’ll turn in the keys to Truck 897 for the last time and officially retire after more than 16 years with Opies Transport.
Richard, thank you for everything you’ve done for Opies over the years. We appreciate your hard work, loyalty, and all the miles you’ve put in.
Congratulations on your retirement, Richard! Now it’s time to enjoy the good life: a few cold ones by the pool, plenty of fishing out of your new fishing boat, a cruise with your wife this winter, and lots of time in Florida with the grandkids.
After 16 years and countless miles on the road, we hope retirement brings you plenty of time to relax, travel, fish, and enjoy your family.

We recently completed the installation of a brand-new industrial floor coating at our Eldon Tank Wash. This project wasn't just about improving the appearance of our facility—it was completed to help meet food-grade standards and comply with both government regulations and our customers' sanitation requirements. The new floor provides a durable, seamless surface that's easier to clean, helping us maintain the high standards expected in food-grade tank washing.

A special thank you to the crew at Archway Industrial Coatings from St. Charles, Missouri. Their team was highly skilled, professional, and well-equipped for every phase of the project. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship delivered an outstanding finished product, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Last Thursday our Memphis terminal crew got treated to a Fourth of July meal, and it was a blast. Steak, laughs, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue.
We appreciate every one of our Opies employees who made time to come out. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
