One of our favorite things about working with Robinson operators is seeing just how many different jobs these helicopters are asked to do.
This week features our customer Hexagon Helicopters in Valley, Nebraska.
Led by Brent Wulf, the Hexagon crew puts their Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters to work across a wide variety of missions throughout the Midwest.
๐ฝ Aerial application
๐ฑ Cover-crop seeding
๐ฆ Wildlife surveys
๐ฅ Firefighting & aerial ignition support
๐ช External-load operations
โก Powerline & pipeline patrol
๐ก LiDAR & thermal work
๐ฌ๏ธ Wind-turbine inspections
โ๏ธ Ice operations and other specialized utility work
During the busy ag season, these aircraft arenโt just accumulating hours โ theyโre covering thousands of acres, moving from job to job, and working alongside load trucks, ground crews, and support equipment to keep the operation moving.
Itโs a great example of what makes the Robinson platform so versatile.
A helicopter that may be spraying crops one part of the season can be seeding cover crops, conducting a wildlife survey, supporting utility work, or carrying an external load on another mission.
And behind those aircraft is a team making it all happen.
Brent, Aaron, Taylor, Andrew, Jackson, and the rest of the Hexagon Helicopters crew have built an operation that puts their aircraft to work and gets a tremendous amount of capability out of them.
Thatโs what we enjoy highlighting with โ not just the helicopters we maintain and support, but what our customers are actually doing with them once they leave our shop.
Prairie Air is proud to help support Hexagon and keep their Robinson helicopters ready for whatever job comes next.
Thanks to Brent and the entire Hexagon crew for continuing to trust Prairie Air Inc. with your aircraft. ๐๐
