Last week, the Atlantic City International Airport Fire Department held its Change of Command Ceremony at the firehouse.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chief Gregory Quein on his well-earned retirement and thank him for his many years of dedicated service. We are truly grateful for all he has done for our department and community. Chief Quein will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in this next chapter.

Congratulations to Timothy Green on his appointment as our new Fire Chief. We are excited to see the leadership, dedication, and vision he will bring to this role.

We would also like to recognize Wayne Matthews on his promotion to Deputy Fire Chief and James Tucker on his promotion to Captain. Additionally, congratulations to Thomas Burns, Brian Flaherty, and Luis Lopez-Jimenez on their Badge Pinning. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and commitment each of these individuals has demonstrated throughout their careers.

The department also recognized several members for their outstanding service. Captain Wayne Matthews, Firefighter Steve Yob, and Firefighter Patrick Flynn were honored for their actions at the Hamilton Township structure fire. Assistant Chief Jeffrey Paul, Captain Stefan Rivard, Firefighter Rebecca Capriotti, and Firefighter A.J. Berenato were recognized for their response to the Tilton Road motor vehicle accident.

Congratulations to all of our honorees and award recipients on their well-deserved achievements.
