"The history of this 1939 Knucklehead traces back to the early 1970s and its owner, Brad Bayless, who lived in a tiny midwestern village of roughly 800 residents. Coming home from his deployment in the Vietnam War, Brad dove into an ambitious passion project: crafting his very own chopper.

Rather than outsourcing the labor to a high-end shop, Brad tackled all the fabrication completely hands-on. He benefited from having free rein at his grandparents' local tow shop, which gave him full access to welders, torches, and various heavy duty shop equipment. Armed with this gear, Brad successfully chopped, raked, and altered the motorcycle's original frame, perfectly capturing the radical style that defined the early '70s."
