We’re grateful to The Landing Café & BBQ for being part of the Pangborn Memorial Airport community over the past two and a half years.

Louis, Kelley, and Cassidy created a welcoming spot for airport employees, travelers, and community members alike, and we appreciate the time, care, and great food they brought to the terminal. We wish them all the best as they begin their next chapter in St. George, Utah.

The Landing Café & BBQ’s final day of service will be Friday, September 25.

Following their departure, the café space inside the Pangborn Memorial Airport commercial terminal will become available for lease. The Regional Port looks forward to finding the next operator to serve travelers, airport employees, and our community from this unique location.

More information about the available space and leasing opportunity will be shared soon.

After 2.5 years of pouring our hearts into The Landing Café & BBQ, and 6 years with R Shack BBQ & Catering, it’s time for us to say goodbye to this chapter. Our last day of service for the Landing Café & BBQ will be Friday, September 25th. From day one, the Wenatchee community, Pangborn airport staff, and our fellow local businesses have shown us so much support, and we’re incredibly grateful we got to feed you. Even with our weekday hours, we built an amazing little hub here — from regulars who planned their lunch around us, loyal customers who grabbed us on DoorDash, to airport staff, and travelers and took our food through security and on their flights. We’re incredibly proud of what we created with this tiny café.

While we’re closing this location, we’re not hanging up the tongs. We’re moving to St. George, Utah, where we own a BBQ grill and supply store, BBQ Pit Stop, and will be rolling out a new food truck, Ember & Vine. If you’re ever in southern Utah, look us up and come say hi. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your flights, your lunches, and your stories. We’ll see you down the road.

With new nonstop service between Wenatchee and Portland, travelers gain access to 32 connecting destinations departing within three hours of arrival in Portland — including Medford, where passengers can connect through Portland and arrive by 3:54 p.m.

The return trip is just as convenient. Travelers can depart Medford at 8:15 a.m., connect through Portland, and arrive back in Wenatchee at 11:57 a.m. for a total travel time of 3 hours and 53 minutes.

Whether planning outdoor adventures, quick weekend trips, or visits with family and friends, the new Portland route is creating more convenient regional travel from North Central Washington.

Welcome to the team!

Please join us in welcoming Chase Coleman to the Regional Port team as a new Line Service Technician at Pangborn Memorial Airport!

Chase will support aircraft and passenger services at Pangborn, including aircraft fueling, parking and ground operations, monitoring airport conditions, and helping maintain the facilities and equipment that support safe and efficient airport operations.

We’re glad to have Chase on board and look forward to having him as part of the team. Welcome, Chase!

✈️ Flying Out of Pangborn? Plan Ahead! 🚧

Travelers heading to Pangborn Memorial Airport should be aware of upcoming construction at the Grant Road & Nile Avenue intersection.

Construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and is expected to continue through Summer 2027.

🚦 What does this mean for airport travelers?
• Grant Road will remain open, but traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
• Nile Avenue will be closed to through traffic within the project area.
• Detours will be in place, and traffic may move more slowly than usual.

✈️ If you are flying out of Pangborn, please plan accordingly! We recommend allowing extra travel time to get to the airport, especially during peak traffic and construction periods. Give yourself plenty of time to navigate the detours, park, check in, and get through security without feeling rushed.
