A HUGE culprit of this kind of failure? Check the video in the comments.

Water and contaminants sitting in your bumper cup slowly eats away at these shafts and they can and do break at the shoulder as seen in the pic.

We see this ALOT with Sxs shocks but the dirtbikes are not immune to this failure.

Easiest way to beat this problem?

Pry your bumper up out of the retainer, clean it and hit the area with some penetrating oil.

Can Am Maverick XDS dropped off and was sitting LOWWWWWW.

We serviced and touched up the valving in the shocks exclusively for East Coast SLOW trail riding, tender springs, our new Fcr works nitrogen caps, and some chassis set up.

It will be silky smooth we promise. 🔥

Also, we do not like to take these machines in like this. They’re such a pain to work on.
